Ausper Training

Refund & reschedule policy

Last updated August 25, 2026

This page covers what happens when plans change — yours or ours — for public Ausper Training sessions. It uses the same numbers and commitments as our full terms, in plain language. Private team deliveries follow the schedule terms in that engagement's own agreement, where one exists.

Our approach

We would rather keep your goodwill than your fee. Training plans change — projects slip, people get pulled away — and our policy is built so that changing yours costs you as little as possible, and usually nothing.

It also helps that we never invoice anyone until their session is confirmed to run. If your plans change early, there is often no money involved at all — we simply update or cancel your registration.

Canceling or moving your registration

The line is 15 days before your session starts.

  • 15 or more days out: cancel or transfer to another session free. If we have already sent an invoice, we cancel it or refund what was paid.
  • Inside 15 days: we do not refund, but you do not lose your money either. You get a training credit for 100% of the fee, good for 12 months, to use toward any future session with us.
  • A transfer to a different date or course is free at any point 15 or more days out, and inside 15 days your credit covers the new registration in full.

Sending someone in your place

You can substitute another person at any time, right up to the start of the session, at no charge. Just give us written notice — email is fine — with the new attendee's name and email so their confirmation, materials, and certificate go to the right person.

If we cancel or reschedule

If we cancel a session, or move it to a date that does not work for you, the choice is yours: a full refund or a credit toward a future session. If you have not been invoiced yet, there is nothing to unwind — we confirm the cancellation and you owe nothing.

Guaranteed to run sessions

Some public sessions are marked guaranteed to run (GTR). That is our public commitment that the session will not be canceled for enrollment reasons — low sign-ups will never be why a GTR session does not happen. The only exception is force majeure: events genuinely beyond anyone's control.

One thing that can change on a GTR session is delivery format — a session may move between in-person and live online. The dates and content stay the same. If a format change does not work for you, treat it like any change on our side: contact us and we will make it right.

Our 14-day satisfaction guarantee

If a session did not meet your expectations, tell us in writing within 14 days of the course start and choose what makes it right:

  • Retake the course in a later session at no charge
  • Take a credit toward different training
  • Take a refund of your fee

How to make a change

Email contact@auspertech.com or call 703-420-9323. There is no account to log into — registration is by email, so your confirmation email is your record. Include the registrant's name, the email used to register, and the session, plus what you want to do: cancel, transfer (and to which session), or substitute (and the replacement's name and email).

We will confirm the change by email and update any invoicing to match — canceling an invoice, applying a credit, or issuing a refund as the situation calls for. The date we receive your notice is the date that counts for the 15-day line.

How refunds are paid

We do not take card payments, so there is never a card to refund. Public sessions are paid by invoice to your organization, by purchase order on net 30 terms, or by SF-182 for government registrants.

In practice that means: if no invoice has gone out, we simply do not send one. If an invoice is out but unpaid, we cancel or adjust it. If your organization has already paid, we return the payment to your organization. For SF-182 registrations, we will work with your agency's point of contact on the paperwork.
